08 Giu Container cranes collapse dramatically in Kaohsiung, Taiwan
KAOHSIUNG (Taiwan) – Two container cranes in a Taiwan port collapsed dramatically on Thursday (June 3) after it was hit by a vessel , leaving two people trapped and one person injured, according to local media.
Social media video and photographs shared with Reuters showed the aftermath where first responders were attempting to rescue the trapped workers as well as paramedics waiting on scene.
Local media also showed footage of sudden collapse of the cranes and containers tumbling onto the ground as port workers scrambled for safety at the Port of Kaohsiung.
